I Can't Stand Dumb Love Songs

Kerri Matthews is a seventeen year old swimmer who has never liked love songs. She finds them stupid, cheesy, cliché and just plain annoying. She's never seen the point in songs that describe something so perfect that it can't possibly be real.
When a young man approaches Kerri and asks her to teach his friend to swim, she readily agrees. The very next day she finds Zayn Malik nervously standing at the edge of her swimming pool. Throughout the course of daily swimming lessons, they become fast friends and soon enough, she is taken to meet the rest of the band where a certain member catches her eye.
Maybe, just maybe, those love songs aren't as dumb as she thought.
