Julian and the Andersons

Seventeen-year-old Julian Kingsley has finally found something she never thought she'd have-stability. After years of bouncing between foster homes, she's landed with the 'Kings', a kind couple who genuinely seem to care. For the first time in a long time, Julian has her own room, a quiet place to think, and even the beginning of a future she can believe in.
But old habits-and old ghosts-aren't easy to shake. Whether it's standing up for a friend, getting caught in the wrong place at the wrong time, or making one impulsive decision too many, Julian keeps finding herself in situations that threaten everything she's worked so hard to keep. As much as she wants to protect her new life, trouble has a way of finding her-and sometimes, she doesn't run from it fast enough.
Torn between the girl she was and the one she's trying to become, Julian must figure out how to stay out of the shadows without losing the light she's finally found.
