The story of "Little Red Riding Hood":  fact or fiction?	

	Before the end of the world, most would say that the tale was just a fantasy in the Grim Brothers' collection.  In the aftermath of the apocalypse, all that weren't slaughtered by the Awaken hide in fear.  Some of the Awaken are in search of the promised land, sanctuary.

	Quinn O'Connell lived the perfect life.  She had the perfect boyfriend, Jason, and perfect grades.  She was cheer captain and Homecoming Queen.  She embodied every aspect of perfect.  When she strangely notices mysterious Kyte O'Reilly for the first time, she feels a fissure cracking her perfect world.    

 The world ends abruptly with the first awakening, where the wolves rise once again. Quinn finds her life upside down when she becomes one of the Awaken, fighting for the side of wolves.  Millions are slaughtered at the second awakening when the homunculus, previously known in myth as vampires, rise.  Traveling with other Awaken to find the remnants of a journal that is said to belong to the first werewolf, they search for a certain paradise carefully detailed in its pages.

The dairy fragments contain the real story of "Little Red" who went by the name of Eliza and how she came to birth Peter.  First written by his mother and then by his own hands, Peter weaves his own tale of broken love, terrible war, and The Great Sealing.  

Quinn and the other Awaken, which includes her boyfriend Jason and the mysterious Kyte, searches for the Petersville outlined in the old pages.  On their journey across the country, she finds herself surrounded by males, the only female, fighting the Awaken vampires.  Shechanges from the perfect princess of yesteryear to a warrior branded by new love and urges.

	With the promise of paradise, will the Awaken be able to conquer the inevitable war and find peace in the new world.  Will they be able to save the ones they love?
