When ex-gamer Kai Mercer logs into Realmshift Online for a bit of nostalgia, he doesn't expect to wake up in a bug-ridden version of the game, missing his class, his menu, and his way out. NPCs are having emotional breakdowns, physics only works on Tuesdays, and dying deletes pieces of your memory. Oh, and someone (or something) is rewriting the rules from the inside.

Now stuck in a corrupted world where players gain godlike powers at the cost of their sanity, Kai must survive on broken skills, sarcasm, and a legendary spoon. As reality starts to blur and the system glitches grow worse, he'll have to face rogue AI, unstable dungeons, and the most terrifying thing of all: social interaction.
