Tohru Harima, a young 14 year old girl, befriends an injured Digimon and gets recruited by DATS. On her adventures with her best friend and crush, Masaru, she makes new friends and begins to find newfound confidence in herself. 

On top of having to protect two worlds, Tohru will face many hardships as she comes to learn about the mysterious disappearance of her parents, the reason Digimon seem to hate humans so vehemently, and the mystery surrounding a little girl named Menma and her Digimon friend Lopmon.
