This story takes place many years ago in a time where man and dragon fought to the end. Until a young man sees something that no one else has before. That these majestic creatures are not what we think they are. Deciding to challenge the belief his people have had on the dragons for centuries one bold move may be all it takes to end the war, hopefully.

On Berk Vikings have fought dragons for over 300 years. It has been there way of life since they arrived here. The chiefs son young Hiccup Haddock has always been different. The young man from birth defied everyone's beliefs. But he persists becoming a well renound blacksmith and friend to the teens of his years but to many he is a waist of space.

His friends Astrid Hofferson, Fishlegs Ingerman, Ruffnut and Tuffnut Thorston have had his back for many years and they have all grown close. Becoming skilled warriors and tormented by Snotlout Jorgenson and his lackeys. The heir to Berk had always taken the beatings trying to protect his friends, but one day he's had enough and leaves. What will his father and friends say.

Years later Snotlout has become the Heir to Berk but will the Chief say when his son presumed dead say when the true heir to Berk returns. He may not get what he's always hoped for when he does.
