After a near-fatal fight with two Vaumoras, a Korathos named Va'naro marches to Oasis in search of a healer. When he meets a young Ani named Klikli, their fate is sealed. They'll be hunted by the Phantom Crusaders, a deadly band of Hallucinixes led by a mysterious figure named Hetta. Caught between the claws of creatures large and small, Klikli and Va'naro will dive into volcanos, journey through the desert, deny that they're in love with each other, and more in search for the answer of WHY these Hallucinixes are so interested in them!?
