A Dark Gothic Reimagining of the Wizarding World

Under the guidance of the enigmatic Volkovs, a Russian pureblood couple with secrets as deep as the Black Lake, she learns she is no ordinary witch. A prophecy binds her: "The child of glass and shadow shall bend fate itself." Armed with a wand of yew and Thestral hair, a star pendant humming with ancestral magic, and the devastating foreknowledge of every tragedy yet to come, Vespera must navigate a Hogwarts where the shadows breathe and the castle itself watches her every move.  

But changing fate is no simple task. Dumbledore's piercing gaze follows her, questioning her presence. Snape believes her a spy, sent by forces beyond their world. And then there is Draco Malfoy-beautiful, cunning, and sharp as the edge of a knife-whose fascination with her is as dangerous as it is intoxicating.
