20 years ago, my family and I had lost a whole chunk of joy and life. Our father. He was deployed to Afghanistan (first thing I thought of) and was taken into custody, and it isn't very nice custody. He never came back.
Mom, my brother and I haven't exactly forgotten about our dad, but you could say we moved on.
Mom still hasn't married anyone else.
My brother became a doctor, specifically for veterans.
As for me, I've become a soldier myself. And I'm going to rescue my father.
'Wouldn't he be dead by now?' You ask, 'I mean, it's been 20 years.' True, it has. But I have a strong gut feeling...
That dad's alive.
Soon, I'm going to be deployed. I'm going to Afghanistan, where my father was. I'm going to find him and bring him home. Then we can be a complete family, whole again once more.
Yes, this is exactly what I aspire to do.

I lost my mom at 11, that's when it started. My dad became a drunk and I was left to take care of my 3-month-old baby sister. "Daddy don't go" my little girl cried while hugging my leg "Yeah daddy we'll miss you don't go" her twin said hugging my other leg. My oldest son just sat down in the couch with tears streaming down his face. I turned to look at my wife or should I say ex wife. She looked down at the floor with a few tear marks on her cheeks while holding our two other kids. "I'm sorry" I say dropping my bags and taking them off my legs to hug them. I went to sit next to my son and whispered in his ear "I never met to hurt you" after saying that I gave him a hug and ruffled his curly hair. I then went to my wife. "I'm sorry" I said kissing the tear marks, then her lips. I then kissed and hug my 3 year and 1 year old sons. "Daddy loves you" then grabbed my bags and left the house. This is "His Mafia Wife", second story. I loved him, then I seen the look in his eye's when he killed a man to protect me and then I ran. I moved more then I liked for almost over a year, only for him to find me and sweep me back into his arms-were he'll never let me go. There moments when we'll fight like dogs and cats. Then there moments we have each other's backs, fight to live. Then we have those moments, when the world isn't quite so crazy. But the relaxing moments only last so long. When my dad was out walking around-before prison-he, I and a few other people found out that I can hit any mark even from miles away. How that's possible, I don't know. After he tried to kill me, when I said I wouldn't kill Logan, he was sent to prison. But now he's out after only spinding less then his time calls for, from braking out. He's out to kill me and anyone else on his list. But I plan on killing him first and then tell Logan we are expecting a child. Which in truth, I hope the nurse was wrong about the baby. You see, there are these apps where anybody can write books, stories and the sort and one day, scrolling the FB (which I don't usually do but I kill time with it on occasions) my eyes fell on a title that made me scoff. The title, 'Mafia in Love'. I remember I laughed terribly then, one of the very few times I laughed, or smiled for that matter. Some people truly feel they know anything about Mafia. It was not far from the truth, though. We are in love. We are in love with money, power, luxury and women. Actually more like to f. women. A lot. At least that's what I love.
