"Changbin, you're off beat again," Hyunjin muttered, barely audible but enough to spark a reaction. Changbin froze mid-step. "What did you say?" Hyunjin, visibly tired, rolled his eyes. "I said you're off. Just fix it." "Don't start with me right now, Hyunjin," Changbin snapped, his voice low but heavy with frustration. I'm not the only one noticing! You've been slipping up all week!" Felix stepped in, his usual soft demeanor edged with concern. "Hyunjin, maybe-" "No, let him finish," Changbin cut him off, his tone icy. He turned to Hyunjin, his eyes narrowing. "You think I don't notice your mistakes? Or is it just easier to pick on me?" Hyunjin bristled. "I'm not picking on you! But if you can't handle criticism, maybe-" "Maybe what?" Changbin stepped forward, his voice rising. But the damage was done. The tension broke into a full-blown argument. "I'm just saying what everyone else is thinking." And what's that supposed to mean?" Changbin's voice cracked, the hurt bleeding through his anger. "It means you've been distracted, Changbin. We all see it." Changbin took a step back, his chest heaving. "I'm giving everything I have to this group! Do you think this is easy for me?" Lee Know spoke, his voice colder than usual. "Maybe it's not about working harder, but working smarter. We're all under pressure, but you're taking it out on everyone else." The words hit like a blow. Changbin's jaw tightened, his eyes darting between his bandmates. "You think I'm the problem? Fine. Maybe I should just go." The night was loud- a storm of words, regret, and shattered pride. Flashing lights. Screams. Silence. When morning came, nothing was the same. Panic spread. Phones rang. He was gone. Days turned to weeks. Hope turned to heartbreak. And somewhere between guilt and grief, a story began that none of them could ever forget. > Sometimes, the loudest echoes come from the ones we've already lost.

He woke to the sound of breathing. Not his own. It was soft. Steady. Too calm for the weight pressing down on his chest. Something scratched against the wooden floor as he blinked himself into the dim room-slow, dragging, like claws or fingers or something worse. The air tasted like dust and old metal. His throat burned when he tried to speak. Then he moved. Or tried to. His wrists didn't come with him. The realization came all at once: He was tied. Wrists behind the chair. Ankles bound to the legs. The rope was thick and frayed and burned when he struggled. This wasn't a prank. It wasn't a dream either. "Hyunjin," a voice whispered. Too familiar. Too close. Felix stepped into view from the corner of the room, barefoot and smiling like they were still in their dorm room, like nothing was wrong. But his hoodie was stained. His hands were red. And his eyes-God, his eyes-were too bright for someone so quiet. "You're awake," Felix said softly, as if he hadn't been waiting hours for this moment. "I was starting to think you wouldn't open your eyes for me." Hyunjin couldn't speak. Not because he didn't know what to say. But because something in Felix's voice told him that if he made a sound, it would all come crashing down. "Do you know how hard it was?" Felix asked, sitting across from him like this was a normal conversation. "To get you here. To keep you here. To make sure no one else got to you first?" He leaned forward, elbows on his knees, still smiling. "I did all of it for you." Hyunjin's breath caught in his throat. The rope cut deeper. And Felix, still calm, still smiling, tilted his head and whispered: "You said you'd never leave me, remember? So I made sure you never could."
