Harry, Hermione and Ron never had an easy school life ever since they arrived at Hogwarts two years ago, and they surely didn't expect this year to be any different. But not just because Sirius Black managed to escape from Azkaban, but because a new strange teacher arrived at Hogwarts this year.
Y/n Y/s, former auror that took the place of professor Sprout as the Herbology Teacher, was not what they were expecting when Dumbledore announced the changes for the new school year. Behind her sarcastic smile, in fact, there is something darker that the group will slowly unravel.
It's, of course, a slow burn, and at the beginning the love story is not the main focus.

Severus Snape survived the war to everyone's surprise. He remained the Headmaster of Hogwarts with Minerva's help and offered for every 7th year to repeat their year if they wanted. If not, they were to graduate anyway. Neville, Luna, Draco, and Hermione went back while Harry and Ron decided to go into the Auror world. Hermione and Ron were doing okay as a couple however Ron doesn't like the fact that Hermione is so close to Snape. As Head Girl, she comes up with a new program to help out the teachers. 7th years are to teach one class a week for the younger students so the teachers could have an extra break.
