The Kitsune's Keeper

Souls are just another thing of bargain in this world of magical beings like kitsunes, wolf beings, feline, dragon, and everything in between, but this special world is not as peaceful as what it had once been.

In this mystical world, the largest known village castle known as Soul's Keep is ruled by a hierarchy of wolves. The Dires, Timbers, and the Greys. All with powerful lords leading them, and knights behind all of them. The knights, and their souls that is. With some of them being the Kitsunes.

While the kitsune's showed their power with everything they had, the race was soon wiped out, their souls consumed, stored for unstoppable powers, or they were sold off into war to use their powers until their demise. That is all but a few, one being known as Hazel.

After being found and adopted by one of the dire wolves royal knights at a young age, Hazel was quickly listed as one of the last Kitsunes remaining, though times quickly changed. A royal dire wolf knight known as Boris hastily decided to take her in under the pretense she would be a Lessor for his son Cole for war once he had become of age, but things were about to change.

After an agreement of peace was bargained for, Hazel had found herself in an arranged marriage with another Kitsune that had been found by the Greys, the second strongest army that stood by Soul's Keep. She was forced to leave her home, but not alone.

While she is Cole's Lesser, Toko left him in charge of protecting her during her stay with the Greys. Though, things soon take a turn as the Dire's secrets unfold. Cole finds himself stuck between holding his duties as a knight of Soul's Keep or truly protecting Hazel.
