Because with the first rays of sunshine any traces of the past hours would be gone and with it the rain would subside, taking the things it had silently witnessed down to its soil grave; if one was to be trusted, it was the rain, not to ever speak about any of this to a single soul...

I got inspired by Finn's new song "Trailer after dark" and wanted to write something that came to my mind while listening to it. This is pretty much a translation of the song into a fanfic/ a single scene and the focus lies on the scenery and the feelings the songs transported; the trailer, the rain, the loving, the desperation.

It purposely doesn't include any specifics about the who and you can decide for yourself if this is about Finn with someone or if these are two fictional characters (modern AU Mileven for example) or if these are two faceless strangers in the night.

The Girl and the Orc - (A Middle Earth Story) by littleannierooney
33 parts Complete
Completed! "A tale as old as time, Beauty and the Beast~" Rain's family have been taken from her. She snuck into Mordor to find them but in a twisted turn of events, she ends up befriending an Uruk-hai captain with an identity crisis. In return for her help, the Orc promises to spare the girl's life. Soon they meet an old war veteran who can help them get to their destination. Everything seems to be going wrong, betrayal, sickness, injuries... Will these three friends be able to push through the punches life in Middle Earth throws at them? Or will they end up falling apart? And what happens when the Orc, Bogwater, finds himself falling for Rain? *Title has been updated to be more self-explanatory. However, nothing in the story has changed. -DISCLAIMERS: NEW READERS READ BEFORE CONTINUING- •Scenes of Violence, Action, and some Language. • I do not own Middle Earth or the characters specifically created by Tolkien, all I own is Rain, Bogwater, Havish, and the plot to this story. •This story has many twists and turns, please don't freak out on me if something you don't particularly like happens. •This has absolutely NOTHING to do with the Lord of the Rings/Hobbit plot. This is an all original plot using my own characters that just happen to run into Gollum, Gandalf, and some others, including Elrond. This is DOES not tie into the novels/films in anyway. • I do not own any of the songs or pictures used to give depth to the story. • A story about self-acceptance and friendship.
The Ballad of Moonlight by Kylia6666
20 parts Ongoing Mature
"Before she was a warrior, she was a whisper. Before she was a whisper she was a wound. And before the wound.. there was the moon." There are stories the world forgets. Not because they are unimportant - but because they are too important. Too close to the bone. Too full of blood and silence and shadow. The tale of the moon is one such story. Before the world was carved by blade and breath, there were gods that watched over men. Some gave fire. Some gave sea. But the moon gave silence, peace - and the night it's language. It cast light not to reveal, but to protect. To shield the broken, the hunted, the mourning. And when the first warrior stood with blood on her hands and sorrow in her chest, it was the moon that bowed first. It had always bowed to pain. It has always followed the lost. Even now. Even still. There was once a man named Tsugikuni Michikatsu. He carried greatness on his shoulders like a crown of flame - and fell with the weight of it. In his youth, he was destined for legend. In his grief, he became a demon. A moonlit mockery of the warrior he once was. But before his soul was devoured by darkness, before his blood turned rot, something was born inside him - something forged not of blood or rage, but of loyalty. A guardian, a shadow. A creature older than the trees, with eyes of forgotten gods. Tsukiyomi. My KNY AU put into book format. This is a fanfic. There may be ships you don't like, there will be descriptive scenes of blood and fights.
