When Max Scott moves out to California to become an actress she has great success. Being in two major Nicolas Sparks movies Max has got it good. 

One day on a way to see some friends she gets a call from her mother, Jackie. Max packs her bags and catches a flight back to Minnesota. 

Luke her dad got really sick and is in the hospital she rushes down to him. When Max returns home she will remember what it was like to live in the country. See old friends and Liam . 

Liam Hudson was Max's oldest friends. They knew everything about each other. When Max left for California she was heartbroken because she wanted to leave but she wanted Liam. 

Liam has never forgotten about Max. When he sees her again for the first time in person instead of magazines and on tv, he has his heart set on winning her back. 

Will he win her heart or get his heart broken? Will Max decide to say goodbye for good or stay longer.
