Liam Grey, a laboratory experiment gone wrong, is the son of a scientist who successfully recreated the Flash's powers. Alongside his super speed, Liam also gained the ability to manipulate lightning and electricity, as well as a few other extraordinary abilities.
Finally, his father was stopped by the man whose powers his are based on. The Flash took him under his wing, as well as his own nephew, Wally West, where the two were raised like brothers.
What happens when he joins a team of 'sidekicks' in which he finally finds a family?
