Hermione was hell-bent on making the most of her last year at Hogwarts, to try and eradicate the sounds from the war that echo through the almost rebuilt halls of the castle. She's never been more grateful to have all of her friends by her side and her parents safe back at home, but she's not sure she'll be able to shake the feeling that she's one breath away from losing it all. But for now, she's content with her biggest problem being her potions project and... detention with Malfoy? Was this possibly the worst start to the year, or the best?

On second thought, maybe making a scene would have actually been a good idea. Well, it was too late to turn back now. "I will just be going out for a little stroll...around. I must admit that I am in dire need of some fresh air. My, how long did you say I was out for again?" He put his hand to his chest like it was an absolute travesty to have not been told. "I-uh...four days, Mr. Malfoy. You were out for four days." "Well then, I shall be going now. Toodaloo!" Madam Pomfrey stood completely frozen for a long moment like this was the exact opposite of what she expected to happen when Draco woke up. "Mr. Malfoy, wait!" The witch eventually called out, but Draco was already out of the door. Draco wakes up in the hospital wing having no idea who he is and how he got there. Turns out he fell 20 feet down the stairs and got his memory wiped. What else could go wrong?
