Cas Novak, who is a transboy, accidentally comes out to his mother, desperately hoping she'll still accept him. However, she ignored him, continuing to treat him like the daughter she thought she had, despite his pleas otherwise. After a year or so, Mrs. Novak discovers Kripke's Academy, sending Cas there.

Dean Winchester has been going to the school with his brother, Sam for a few years. The homophobic John Winchester sent his boys there, wanting nothing to do with either of them, after catching Dean in bed with another man.

When the two boys meet, their lives change irreversibly, and in more ways than one.
