Mark Thal was only 12 years old when it happened, atleast he thinks he was. Time has no meaning now.
He can still remember the horror he felt as the entire city skyline of his hometown was engulfed as he watched from the evacuation helicopter.
What could engulf an entire city in moments, why would nature ever allow such a horror to exist?
The dogscape does not care for nature. It is an emotionless mass that will continuously expands until it has engulfed every being living or not. But Mark will survive this, or he can try atleast.
