Sol Shadow Milk, 17, soon to be 18 years old, is the top student of his boarding school, having gotten in with a scholarship due to his ever-expanding knowledge. Confiding in McCoy and his two 'apprentices,' he doesn't find any need to expand his social circle.

One day, after receiving the results of the first math test of the year, he is approached by Silas Pure Vanilla. A blonde who was his age with glasses that sat low on his nose, asking to be tutored by him.

Secrets and discoveries are made, things they wouldn't have thought another person could understand-things only they understood about one another.
