Kai and Kirin were once inseparable friends, but their bond is severed when Kai's family had to flee the country for their safety. Now, fifteen years later, Kai returns to his childhood city with his father and sister to fulfill his late mother's final wish. He is also hopeful of rekindling his lost bond with the now elusive Kirin, someone who has never left his thoughts. However, his homecoming quickly turns into a nightmare when tragedy strikes: his father is murdered, and his sister is kidnapped by an old foe, Rainer.

Devastated by the loss of his father and desperate to save his sister, Kai devises a plan to capture one of Rainer's men in hopes of gleaning information about her whereabouts. He chooses someone he accidentally bumped into before the tragedy occurred. To his shock, however, the person he captures is Kirin. This unexpected twist puts Kai in a difficult position as he grapples with feelings of betrayal and his stubborn devotion toward Kirin whose loyalty lies with Rainer - the man who took his sister.

Caught in a web of doubt and fear, Kai questions Kirin's honesty and loyalty. As he navigates this perilous situation, he must confront his feelings for Kirin and determine who he can truly trust in his desperate quest to rescue his sister before it's too late.
