But Jay was completely unfazed. He smiled slightly, leaning down closer to Tao. "I don't care how fucked up in the head you think you are," Jay mumbled. "That look on your face every time I touch you? I want that to be mine forever." There's a darkness in everyone. Some is worse than others. While for most, high school is a time to discover who you are, Tao has something else in mind. He knows who he is, and he wants to find an outlet for his dark desires. And Jay, the friendly and outgoing ball of light in everybody's lives? He's the last person who should be enabling an outcast loner like Tao. He has a bright future and abundant friends, things Tao never had and doesn't want. Yet the unlikely pair find a solace in each other, and both Tao and Jay find out just how dark it can get when you find someone who will be on your side no matter what.

One year ago... I ran as far away as I could. My feet were hurting, but I couldn't stop. I had to get away from this place; it was only a curse of us ever coming here. From the moment Nolan and Camary met I knew it was something up with him. He would stare at her and when I would ask what the problem was, or even try to get his attention I was brushed off. But there was always a sorry reason he was gawking at her. I felt my eyes stinging, but what I knew was I wasn't going to cry over it. I hated that I didn't break up with him before this, because I knew. But there is always that reason I had to stay with him. I couldn't stand the fact I allowed myself to get hurt like I just did. What was even my purpose? Nothing, I shouldn't have possessed a hankering to make up theses reasoning's for him. I couldn't do it. I left everything, from my piece of mind to my belongings. I had to start over fresh and this time I'm watching out for myself.

"fuck. you." he whispers,sounding out ever syllable in the words. i back away from him and look him dead in the eyes.i have had enough of his bullshit.before even thinking,i step closer to him and slap the living shit out of his cheek.he steps back and touches it. before giving me time to process what i just did, he charges towards me and grabs my throat and smashes his lips into mine.
