Seventeen-year-old Alessa Bridgers is worn thin from years of chasing academic perfection. On the night before her school's science fair, she receives a strange, anonymous letter-one that turns out to be from her future self. The letter warns her to terminate the Superpowered Time Machine (STM) she and her friends have built before disaster strikes.
Though shaken, Alessa dismisses the warning as stress-induced paranoia. The science fair arrives, the STM works flawlessly, and her group wins the top prize. But as they celebrate, the machine begins to behave strangely-lights flicker, the ground shakes, and the joy quickly dissolves into dread.
Now, Alessa must face the possibility that the warning was real-and that the future is unraveling because of a machine she was never meant to complete.

I never knew four words could contain so much dread and terror. I'd rather deal with the Wanderers. I'm on the brink of a breakdown. I need help..." BOOK #2 IN THE SERIES! Ignorance is not bliss... In the wake of ridding Oakwood of Wanderers, other dangers come creeping in and they're somehow linked to Luc's absent twin. The past returns to haunt the mutants in inconspicuous ways. But little do they know that everything isn't as what it seems, as they start to realize that they have traveled to another dimension where everyone on Earth has vanished. Now it's a race against time as they must find a way to get back to their own dimension before the multiverse tries to fix the titled "Isolation Paradox" by erasing each and every one of them, one-by-one. This brand new version of the original now has more chapters and changes a lot of flaws from the original story. With brand new development with the characters, lots of more dangers that they'll face, and a realistic feel to the story. Also in this version is deleted scenes!Complete

Six high school students looks like anyone else acts like anyone else but are capable of things no one else is. They learnt from a young age no one that means NO ONE can know about their powers even their parents and other siblings. It brings out the true friends and those who just want to use you. In the end, what do you do when your closest friend betrays you? This is the story as they try to keep their biggest darkest secret of what they are capable of and as they discover they're not the only ones like them... I am not very good at trigger warnings before individual chapters but there is mention of blood, cold abuse and parents divorcing. (But read at your own risk in case I mention something else. I am working on rewriting this story and when I do there will be the trigger warnings in the correct places.) (small teaser.) No one sees me. I am a ghost. I brush against the wooden fence.
