The topside city of Piltover and the undercity of Zaun have been at war for the power of Hextech since Caitlyn could remember, but it never stopped the Kiramman heir from becoming her own protector against the threats that lurked beneath their sparkling capital of progress.
The war for Hextech still ceases to bother the vast majority of the citizens down under, as the power is really only something Silco and his gang are interested in, but the citizens fight alongside him because of the power he has over them and the shimmer. He hardly needs the help, considering he always brings his left and right hands Jinx and Sevika or sends them to do his dirty work instead.
Despite the power Silco has, there are individuals who refuse to take up arms for his sake and spend their time ignoring the war. Ekko, leading the firelights, often stops Silco's assaults on Piltover and never leaves a trace of being there. Violet, or Vi for short, spent several years in Still Water Hold after being taken in her attempt to save Jinx, who was once known as Powder, from Silco. She now hides away in her apartment until she catches wind of something bad happening... or a certain blue-eyed beauty shows up at her doorstep...

- This is a CaitVi/VioLyn AU fanfiction.
-Hextech never became an arcane corruption, Viktor never became corrupted by the arcane of Hextech, Silco is alive. This AU covers what life could have been like if Hextech's use of the arcane was sought after and caused way between Piltover and Zaun instead of becoming an almost unstoppable corruption.
- There will be angst, romance, some minor smut (implied sexual intimacy), maybe even some trauma dumps. If you don't like it or are triggered by such topics, you can stop reading or skip to the next chapter.
- Full disclaimer: I apologize for any grammatical/spelling errors I make. I'm also co-writing this story with a friend of mine, so if the chapters take a while to be posted that would be why.

Vi took a step closer, voice teasing. "Why does it bother you, hmm?" Caitlyn hated how her heart sped up. She looked away, grumbling, "Because... because you're supposed to be loyal to me." Vi's smirk faltered slightly. Caitlyn crossed her arms tighter. "I mean-not that we ever had anything. But still! You-You can't just..." She trailed off, biting her lip. Vi studied her for a long moment. "Caitlyn." Caitlyn refused to meet her gaze. Vi sighed, softer now. "I'm single, okay?" Caitlyn swallowed. Vi hesitated before continuing. "But yeah, I... I do love someone." Caitlyn hiccupped, rubbing at her eyes furiously. Vi reached for her, concerned. "Caitlyn, why are you-" "I knew it!" Caitlyn blurted, voice wobbling. Vi blinked. "Knew what?" Caitlyn sniffled. "You do love someone! And-and now I have to compete with them?" Vi opened her mouth-then shut it, utterly baffled. "I-what?" Caitlyn grabbed Vi's hands. Arcane Continued
(I don't know much League lore so bear with me!) Vi and Caitlyn finally have the chance at a good life with each other, but Caitlyn suspects something her mourning partner doesn't. After scanning the maps, it's perfectly plausible that Jinx, Vi's sister could have evaded death. If Jinx and Vi reunite, it could make Vi completely happy, but Caitlyn fears that Vi will die searching for Jinx. Mel has taken her mother's place. She never thought that her, the just, refined, former Councilor of Piltover, would run such a warlike place like Noxus. She thinks that maybe, if she tries hard enough, the people can possibly incorporate peace in their morals. Sevika thought that her little family would last, but she was horribly mistaken. Losing both Isha and Jinx, on top of the stress of being a Councilor, has taken its toll on her. She can't bear to find people she connects to in fear of losing them as well. Jinx is alive. Not well, but alive. She barely escaped the blast of her grenade with her shimmer-induced speed, dragging her heavily injured body through an air duct. Now, she's all alone again, inside of the tunnel systems. She doesn't know where to go, scrounging for scraps and barely making it through each day. Ekko's returned to the Firelights, but a change has occurred. He had started to mend his relationship with Jinx, and after the news of her death hit him, he stopped finding joy in things. The young Firelights playing, the sunlight streaming through the tree, his hoverboard, all things that used to put a smile on his face, just seem to remind him of Jinx. Jayce and Viktor are stranded in space. The blast from the Arcane destroyed their mortal forms, and now only their celestial bodies remain. They travel to different universes now, helping people when needed, or just talking about their memories together. Born amidst the smog-choked streets and rusted spires of the undercity, she grew up with the scent of grease and danger in her lungs. A fighter, sharp as the broken glass that littered the ground, she earned her name with a ferocity that could cut through any who dared stand in her way. Once, Shark had stood by Vander's side. She had believed in his dream of peace, of making Zaun something more than just Piltover's shadow. His bar, The Last Drop, had been a refuge where she could momentarily forget the cold weight of survival. Vander treated her like family, and for a time, she believed in him like family too. Two-Sided (Arcane x Male Reader)
The people of The Underground were never the luckiest pair. Only a special few were lucky, lucky enough to get the privileges of the topside. The (L/n)s were an example of such lucky people of Zaun. But even then they wouldn't be safe in Piltover. Vander, the brother of the woman who married (F/n) (L/n), warned his sister that they wouldn't be safe and how right he was when the family was murdered by corrupted enforcers. The child managed to defend himself but even it was self defense, it wouldn't be seen that way to the people of Piltover. They accused the boy for murdering just for the heck of it. But it was in that particular moment the boy knew that the topside will always think their better then the Underground. And with that knowledge he swore to avenge his parents by detroying the councilors of the oh so great Piltover. After escaping a death sentence and leaving his first love and friend behind, he seeks for his uncle in Zaun's Undercity and hopes to avenge his parents when he gets stronger. Prison Break
The most wanted criminal in Piltover, the infamous Jinx, is finally captured, much thanks to the sheriff's partner, Vi. Unfortunately, it happened accidentally, and just as Vi had learned her sister was seriously ill, and was finally starting to get through to her. To make things even worse, she then learns from Caitlyn that her sister will almost certainly be sentenced to death. But Vi isn't ready to give up on her sister so easily, especially not because of some topside laws. Besides, it's just concrete walls keeping Jinx in, and... she doesn't call Vi Fat Hands for nothing... This book took me WAY longer to write than I thought it would. I published a preview book for it as the second Arcane work I put out, and four books later, here it is. Better late than never, I guess. I hope you enjoy it. Caitlyn & Vi: The Void to Fill (an Arcane Season 2 Story)
I threw my arm around her. Then lightly grabbed her face as she had done mine before, "shhhh, it'll be ok, I've got you ..." I whispered. I didn't let go... Cover art adapted from @trixdraws and @saskia Starting where Arcane season 1 (Netflix/Riot) left off. We see a romantic take on possible events with Caitlin and Vi after Jinx hurled her rocket at Piltover. Although this follows Caitlyn and Vi closely there's a lot of story development as well that I'm having fun with. Noxus, Zaun... culminating in a massive battle... I loved Arcane. It left off too soon, so I couldn't wait to write a story based on the series. The animations, music and storytelling coupled with emotion from every character was astounding. I'm excited to see the masterful art Riot will have in store for next season. But while we wait here's something to chew on... I'd say this is mature YA (a bit of language) nothing too explicit here. Absolutely loved this series and cannon from the League of Legends world. I may have started playing LoL before it officially launched in 2009 I personally see myself in the 3 protagonists Caitlyn, Vi, and Jinx. Sharing a lot of their strengths and weaknesses. Warzone
War has taken over in both Piltover and Zaun. Piltover and its new Sheriff Caitlyn strategizes with new hextech weaponry as she and her allies debate how best to approach Zaun. Vi battles internally with herself over what she really wants. When Vi and Cait come together to fight for justice, Caitlyn must convince Vi to stay with the cause while Vi struggles to keep Cait from being consumed by vengeance. Through the war, Caitlyn and Vi must both keep track of their priorities and make several personal decisions that may change the fate of their cities forever. A what-if continuation of S1 events before S2 comes out [may diverge from lore canon and from S2 canon once it comes out] [in progress] PROGRESS UPDATE Chapter 32 is up! Did I already mention this story is a tragedy? Well sorry in advance 'cause you can probably tell why now. Anyways I just alway thought the CaitVi subplot would be the perfect tragedy, given the tragic nature of Arcane S1, I was so sure that they would capitalize on it in S2. But am I happy that they're canonically together? Yes. Rights for all characters belong to RiotGames and Fortiche.
