Born on the beaches of Brazil, raised by the wind, and lit by the sun-Hinata Shōyō was made to fly. When his family moves back to Japan, the boy who learned to jump on sand finds himself alone in a quiet middle school with no volleyball team, no net, and no one who believes in him-yet. But Hinata doesn't give up. He trains alone, fueled by the memory of his final beach match and a fateful game he saw from 30,000 feet in the air-Karasuno High, the team that refused to fall. This is not the story of a prodigy who wins from the start. It's the story of a boy who loses, and learns to fly anyway. Note from the Author This story was developed and written with the creative help of Fanfic Dream Weaver, an AI writing assistant trained to collaborate on long-form fanfiction. The ideas, direction, and character choices were created through guided storytelling, and the final content was lovingly curated by a fan-for fans. I'm uploading this transparently and for fun, and I welcome anyone who enjoys a different take on Hinata's journey! Pre Karasuno - Post Karasuno Planned

Due to a tragic accident in middle school, Hinata Shouyou's vocal cords were destroyed and he lost the majority of his hearing. He can still play volleyball, proving his skills are useful despite him being mute and nearly deaf. When the ginger-haired boy is paired with a pessimistic, but talented setter, this setter will soon learn that Hinata is silent about more than just his muteness. Note: This is the first story I've ever written that's in first person POVs.
