Life is a journey full of pain,
Full of fear and questioning;
And it's never ending, never ceasing,
But there's hope and belonging when you choose to believe.
We all have been beat to the ground,
Faced the choice on if to rise once more;
And no one is left unscathed from the burdens,
Scars and memories they aren't sure they can fight anymore.
For every girl and for every boy,
For all the souls left in the dark,
This is a message for the hurting from the healing;
For those on the verge of crumbling to dust.
You can find liberty, purpose, meaning,
You can find life in a brand new way;
Don't give in, open up these pages,
And light up your path today.
Beautiful, strong, and special,
Worthy and deserving of true life;
There's a reason to smile, to press on another mile,
There's a hope for your future in sight.
You may not see it, you may not believe it,
But let me show it to you;
