Dazai Osamu, originally named Christopher Finch, has a secret. A secret that nobody knows. He is the last of his bloodline. The last to fall victim to a curse. He longs to meet his mysterious ancestors, and yet he ended up developing an ability that nullifies the curse. Unable to die and meet the only people who may be able to give him answers, Dazai buries his feelings about his past away, the only reminders out in the open being a figurine of a finch. The only tie to his family name that anyone may see. When his birthday rolls around, he decides to utilize his newfound freedom to visit his mothers grave for the first time in 16 years.
