Yu-Gi-Oh!: Mirage (Fall 2027)

The essence of Duel Monsters has been a game of wits and the intelligent. This same game, five-thousand years ago, was played among Egypt, a ruling empire who toyed with the very essence of monsters, life, and death. With the power of the games having reared its head, the world became a little larger, a little tougher, and a little more interesting.

Five-thousand years ago in that same day and age, a wise, ancient Pharaoh ruled Egypt alongside the high court, the Sacred Guardians-guiding the kingdom with wise and fair justice... or so the stories say as they have been uncovered in time. In the present, as his memories were wiped clean, he came to find peace with his present reincarnation, Yugi Muto, along with the help of his all-powerful Millennium Item: the Millennium Puzzle. Having battled foes, faced enemies, and wiped the fields with friends and family supporting them, the journey to become "king" is ongoing-lying in the heart of the Battle City finals and beyond.

However, what if the story was never truly finished? What if the hands of fate and his memory of his past was guided to be alongside another-blessed to give their lives another try? After all, the gods have a funny way of providing second chances.
