The Five Species War

The continent of Vlanoris had never been peaceful... tensions between the 5 kingdoms were always prominent. The Orcs were bloodthirsty, living for the thrill of battle and causing destruction. The Dragons were high, mighty, and proud. Making them arrogant whenever they dealt with the other four kingdoms. The Elementals were made of nature itself, powerful, hard to best in combat, and therefore were seen as deadly and dangerous. The Mages were proficient in magic, their power of spell casting unrivaled, arrogance soon followed, treating other tribes like neanderthals unworthy of speaking with them. The humans, ever greedy, sought more land, power, wealth, anything that others had they desired.

But, despite their differences, they each had one thing in common: each kingdom hated the others with a passion. They believed that their tribes should be the ones controlling the continent and its wealth. With each kingdom's way of life came the conflict of different ways of life, politics, and ruling a kingdom. But so far, none of the kingdoms were willing to go to war to earn that position, lest they lose the five-front war.... Until one night

The kings of each kingdom had decided to meet, talk about a peaceful integration. But something had gone wrong, and the five kings ended up killing one another in a violent battle. Leading to each of the 5 kingdoms declaring all-out war on each other, destroying the land further with each battle.... But did the kings truly kill each other? Volta, an archivist for the new Elemental King, had found something disturbing when she was documenting recent events in the kingdom she called home. The new king had said that the late King Granius had received word from the late king of the Dragons, King Broryss. But according to the archives, King Granius had received a letter from the human King, King Ardema, not the dragon king. Now Volta must find out the truth, and attempt to save her world before it was too late to save it.
