"I didn't mean to write it all down. Not like this or inside a textbook about whales and echolocation and migration patterns I still don't understand. But there was nowhere else to put it. So I started writing between the lines, in the margins, around the dolphins.
This was supposed to be a book about science. Now it's about him. And her. And us. About the ship and how it wasn't unsinkable. About how cold saltwater burns. About how he, with his mouth close to mine, said that dolphins don't swim in the Atlantic. I believed him until I saw them. I swear I did.
This is the only place the story still exists. The only version that remembers the truth the way I saw it."

Description: > "He once loved him in silence. Now he's forced to be his husband." Kim Taehyung survived a past no one ever cared to ask about. Abused by a stepfather, abandoned by a mother who hated him for being gay, he learned early how to wear silence like armor. He built his life from the ground up - with dignity, distance, and a heart locked tight. Jeon Jungkook was the boy Taehyung admired in college - cold, unreachable, untouchable. Now a ruthless billionaire and CEO, Jungkook doesn't believe in love. He believes in owning what he wants. And what he wants... is Taehyung. When Taehyung is hired into Jungkook's company, their paths collide with dangerous intensity. Jungkook remembers him - remembers the way he looked, the way he felt in his presence. What he didn't notice then, he wants now. All of him. So Jungkook makes a move no one sees coming: a deal, a threat, a marriage. Not out of love. Out of obsession. But Taehyung isn't the same boy who once longed for affection. He has teeth now. Boundaries. Rage wrapped in elegance. And though his heart stirs again in Jungkook's presence, he refuses to surrender his self-respect - even as his husband wages a war of control, guilt, and desire. Because belonging never meant freedom. And love, when twisted by power, becomes a cage. --- ⚠️ Themes & Triggers (for readers): Toxic and manipulative relationship Power imbalance / forced proximity Past trauma (sexual abuse, emotional neglect) Slow burn healing and emotional growth Gay romance with dark, psychological tones
