(Overlord x DxD fanfiction - Rewritten story)

After Issei learned the truth about Rias letting him die at the hands of Raynare, he ran away with heartbroken and unbearable pain. When he couldn't take it anymore, he forced himself to become a True Heavenly Dragon at Ddraig's suggestion. He was finally free from the control of the devil heiress, and he decided to travel to another place until he accidentally entered the Dimensional Rift caused by unnatural forces.

After he entered it by an accident, he ended up in an unknown world that is filled with terror and chaos itself. While he flies in the sky, he observed a Sacred Kingdom that is currently invaded by demi-humans and demons. Then he spotted on the City square, which is the large fire demon trying to take a hostage - a beautiful maiden a.k.a. A Holy Queen. Issei, being the new Heavenly Red Dragon decided to save the Holy Queen from the demon emperor. Knowing that Issei's responsibility is to protect the innocent, perhaps guarding the chosen one who shall bring peace between humanity and supernatural factions, from the clutches of evil of the World itself.

Will Issei accept his role to protect the one who is destined to unite it all? Will he be able to love someone or receive the love from a Holy Queen? Or will he lose himself in darkness and destroy everything on his path as a Dragon itself?
