The Lives We Lived

A group of five elementary school students live their days to the fullest with an imaginary world of their own. The world is constantly changing day to day and always has new surprises in store for them.

Andres is the leader. He's the oldest of the group and is usually having to be the more rational one. His days at Sunhaven are limited as middle school is coming up, signaling a loss of his childlike imagination.

CJ, the only girl, and the second oldest. She's a handful, fighting to earn her place among the boys. Because of her inability to sit and behave, she's usually starting fights or annoying the boys.

Daniel is the hothead, and Andres' younger brother. Constantly in his brothers' shadow, he grows bitter and is the one who gets dragged into CJ's fights. He doesn't like fighting, but it's all he knows how to do.

Elias, Daniel's best friend, is the most rational in the group. He's the peacekeeper, attempting to keep Daniel and CJ away from starting a civil war. He remains calm, knowing that it's what the group needs most.

Finally, there's Alejandro, Elias' little brother. He knows he'll be left alone once the others move up to middle school later on, so he hangs out with the older kids as much as he can. Despite not liking all the same things they do, he follows in their footsteps anyway, hoping he can keep clinging onto the memories they're making.
