Gerard Way was happier than he had ever been. He was in a great band, had a wonderful wife and daughter, had the best of friends. All that changed one night in a terrible accident. My Chemical Romance's tourbus had wrecked, the bus caught on fire. Gerard got all of his bandmates out safely, but he suffered terrible burns all over his upper body. Two years have now passed, he can't stand the sight of himself, nor will he let the people he loved see him. Can Gerard get past what he sees in the mirror and find who he truly is?

Frank's parents died over a year ago which has caused him to spiral into a big heat of depression. He's angry, tired, and doesn't care. Gerard is tired of seeing his friend like this, so he hires him an at-home therapist. She's happy, sweet, and very optimistic.
