In a world where Autobots and Decepticons lived in harmony with the humans, Darlene had lived an average, mundane, safe routine. Although she works as a cleaner at one of the bases where the bots sleep, nothing exciting happens there, and living in one of the company-provided apartments led her to have her roommate, Sherry. An Autobot who considers traffic laws merely a suggestion. Considering that Darlene's life is average in this world. It's not always good, but it could always be worse. Darlene always took protocol seriously, especially when she was at work. Until one day, she was scheduled to clean a classified area and overheard a secret she wished she had never known.

However, when they realize just how deep her pain truly was and how far she is willing to end it, Optimus is unwilling to give up on her. She does not understand his reasons, they slowly become clear. And when she finally runs in with Optimus's arch enemy, she finds herself eyeing off a certain decepticon leader in a way that she should not have. And she did not know why. Megatron himself feels he simply had taken something so precious from Prime, and enjoys watching the autobot panic in trying to find her. But, the girl began to confuse his spark. Darkness
Inside of us there can be both good and bad. Angels and demons. Light and darkness. It is sometimes hard to see just how much of each we all possess at first glance. But for Megatron? His darkness did not lie far beneath the surface of his gleaming silver armour. His cruel, twisted ways were known throughtout the galaxy by species of all kinds. The fear he instilled in those around him was something that many people knew well. Roxy did not know that fear. She was not one of the people who had heard of the Warlord's cruel and twisted ways, nor of the bodies often left in his wake. So she had no reason to fear the poor, injured, almost lifeless robot that had crashed landed onto her turf. And that was the start of something neither of them had ever experienced before. A mystery component the Autobots knew well. One that Megatron and Roxy would soon learn in the most DIFFICULT manner possible.
