Born a felinid in the shadow of the Machine God, Mechrat-92 was never truly seen-only tolerated. A Tech-Acolyte with a mind wired for miracles and a soul the Imperium never wanted. Adopted by ancient deathless kings, enhanced with forgotten technology, and renamed Serranekh, he begins to unravel a terrifying truth: perhaps the cold, metallic dynasties of the Necrons understand him better than the warm-blooded Empire ever did.

The Federal States Of Calradia or more commonly known as the Imperium of Man had almost completed it's purpose: uniting all of Humanity under one banner. But as if the Gods were mocking us, maybe they were, a First Contact scenario had occured on the edges of the Outer Rim; a collection of planets that were far beyond the capital, quickly throwing a wrench in the current Emperor's plans. What's worse, is that the aliens hadn't bothered to make negotiations with us and declared war on us by the first days. They quickly took over the planets in the Outer Rim, marching onto the admin planet of Tarsovis D. However, the Voidborne, we started to call them, had inferior land doctrines. And so, the only times we have managed to slow them down or hold them completely is on the ground and not in space due to both their numbers and technological superiority. Almost two decades later, the frontline of the battle, the Frontier, was always constantly changing with each star cycle and Calradia was exhausting it's resources both in manpower and in minerals. Not only that, we had encountered more hostile races since then, and had doubled our fronts and wars. If nothing changes, then Calradia is as good as dead. But, a malfunction with experimental technology may change the fate of Humanity and Galaxy to come... What I fight for
My Warhammer 40k novel without invincible space marines and allmighty psykers. There is a space marine, pretty pequliar though, and there is a psyker (and bunch of other differernt characters), but it is hard to survive and win in my grim future. While Remnants of the Imperium and its vassals still fight on, to do what they can, they are mostly leaderless, with the only surviving members of the Royal Family being Y/n's younger siblings, Chris(tina) and Pyre, and his twin, Selene. yet all is not lost, A Search Begins, a Hunt ends, Legends will be proven true, while old myths come back to the chessboard, Will Dawn or Dusk Yield? [Sequel to 'Imperium'] Following the successful defense of Alamarri and the sudden withdrawal of Hepharion's Chaos Marines, Caius returned to Macragge in time to see the return of his Primarch and receive a new mission from his Captain: find Hepharion and bring him down, no matter the cost, and chase down and secure the remains of the ancient Titan project. At first, resources seem scarce with the Black Crusade taking much of the attention and firepower of the Ultramarines. However, help comes in an unexpected form when an Inquisitor's acolyte appears with an unexpected offer for the men of the Twentieth. Across the stars, Bahad is called before the Council of Farseers of his Craftworld and desperately pleads his case for his alliance with Caius and his hunt for Hepharion. However, this falls on deaf ears when the Craftworld, concerned about his continued association with the Imperium, orders him into a temporary arrest to await further judgment. While in isolation, plagued by his visions of what shall happen without his involvement, he, too, receives an unexpected visitor: a Harlequin Solitaire with a keen interest on seeing him reunited with his Ultramarine.
