Even before the beginning of the Spanish Colonization in the 16th century, a city called Silag had been facing its own battle- not against colonizers, but against bloodsuckers. After the long battle, a great war between Silagans versus the bloodsuckers transpired in 1625. Leandro, the king of the bloodsuckers, and his wife, Dolora, were killed during the war by Silagan leader Datu Isidro, leading to the banishment of the remaining bloodsuckers from Silag, and leaving Silagans live a peaceful life.
For four hundred years, Silagans have thought that bloodsuckers will no longer come back. That's what they thought, at least. Not until Sebastian, the last bloodsucker, returned to Silag to ruin the city's peace.
