Tending To Her

Paris uses both of her hands to grab my hair, tugging me by it to be in front of everyone, almost pulling my hair out at the root.

"It's because of her, isn't it?" Paris screeches, tugging at my hair to emphasise her point, ignoring me as I attempt to free my hair from her grasp. "You made this up because you want her."

"You're fucking insane....just like your brother," I tell her, whispering the last part that she doesn't hear over her own continued yelling.

"Say that again, bitch. I dare you!"

"You heard me," I snap back, feeling oddly bold with my words. That is until her hand slaps across my face and I feel a sharp sting as her multiple rings catch my skin. "Proving my point," I mutter, rubbing my sore cheek and jaw.

Anna finally steps between us before she can do anything else to me, keeping her back to me and almost ignoring me if it weren't for her mind giving me instructions no one else can hear.

"Oh, protecting her still, are you? Protecting that slut because she sleeps with you," Paris continues, spitting another insult but this one gets to me much more.

"Who the hell are you calling a slut?" I retort, Anna letting out an audible sigh as I stupidly continue the argument.

"You. For sleeping with a woman who was engaged, and you knew that."

"When the fuck did I sleep with her? Why would I sleep with her? An uptight, rich asshole, just like you," I spit at her, watching Annastasia also give me an offended look. I didn't mean to insult her too, the words just left my mouth. "Besides, aren't you the one whose brought multiple men to your room? I don't believe they were just there for a chat."
