This book is told through Charlie's pov, but there is a second book told from Raphael's pov called "The Way I See Him". This book tells the story of 18 year old, Charlie Adams, who is a freshman in university and works at his parents convenience store. He has a relatively normal until he goes to a party with his childhood best friend and meets the handsome, well-off, 21 year old, junior quarterback, named Raphael Lewis, who starts hitting on him causing him to start questioning his sexuality. But when Raphael's long time frat bro friend starts to rush Charlie's friend and catch on about his feelings towards Raphael, he starts to blackmail him and mettle in his personal business, all while Charlie and Raphael's relationship grows fonder.
