Now that he was sixteen, he had to face the trial, and if he didn't complete it... he would be hanged in the middle of the town square...

Scott Major never wanted to be King of Rivendell. But when his dad died, and his mother hanged herself when he was five, he had to take charge of the kingdom. Now, his family was visiting after six years of his parents' death for his sixteenth birthday, meaning he had run the kingdom since he was ten. His followers still respected him, though his family did not like how he ran the kingdom and said he had to take a small break from being King and let them handle it while he proved himself to be King...

This book was HEAVILY inspired from xMeluu11's animation 'Fire Thief (Rancher Duo Animation)' on YT. Check it out! It just gave me the idea of you'll-find-out-but-prob-already-know as a trapped flame in a cage in a kingdom. The rest is my own work. I'm only 13, so don't judge if it's horrible and updates will be slow.
