Lacey Johnson is starting her junior year of highschool in a new county. New people, new expectations, new surroundings, the whole nine-yards.

In hopes to building new relationships with her peers, Lacey tries to work through her awkward personality to truly experience the young adult life she's always longed for.

Lacey Johnson likes to think of herself as a well-rounded, outgoing, and fairly optimistic person. Despite all that, she seems to have a small issue...she's awkward. Unbearably awkward. Awkward to such an extent that people can't help but disregard Lacey's presence to avoid her seemingly unsure and frivolous nature. Lacey can only hope that someone can work through her bulky demeanor to sincerely understand her true nature. Perhaps Lacey can have one good thing.

Brendan Silver likes to think of himself as a calm, collected, and down-to-earth kind of guy. His lack of concerns makes it easy for people to latch onto him, however there are only a few people he truly keeps close. Brendan is content with where life has taken him, but there's some tiny piece that he feels is missing. A special someone. Someone who can make his stomach flutter and his heart skip a beat. Brendan longs to find that person, hoping and praying that life will lead him to his missing piece. Brendan has a feeling it'll be sometime soon.
