He stepped closer, invading her space.

"Deny it all you want, my love. But you cannot deny the fire that burns between us. It is inevitable. You. Will. Be. Mine."

Her breath hitched, a betraying tremor in her resolve. "Never," she whispered, but the word lacked conviction, drowned in the rising tide of a passion she couldn't deny.

A hint of a smile graced his dangerously beautiful face.

"Soon, Aurora," he murmured, his lips ghosting over hers, "soon, you will beg for it."
