Beating Hearts In Charlottesville

Hello, my name is Paul Hoffacker and I am a black 20 year old black college student. Who is creating a post here because I have something to share

A little story/backstory:

Starting September 2024, I begin creating 5 black teenage male characters and wrote 5 black female characters to be their girlfriends.

All these characters are black conscious, and I made them that way because I wanted to portray positive representation of black masculinity along with black femininity, as well as black love. But for a while, I have been unsure of creating a story with them or allowing others to make fanart.

In August 2024, I decided to come up with a original WIP 4 characters set up: Thomas Morrison (last name later eventually changed to Berkeley), Daniel Crawford (last name eventually changed to Harrison), Benjamin Thatcher (last named eventually to Wellington), and Peter Becket (name later changed eventually to Philip Hawthorne) and throughout to the beginning of September, I add another and the 5th character to the roaster, Noah Lancaster (who actually never had his name changed, but he was a gothic guy like Philip but I later changed his personality to that of a laid back surfer kinda fella.)

I kept building up the guys up the guys throughout September to January 2025. As for the girls, I started making them later in February to April 2025. Basically with this story I want to create a black teen romance story, taking place in Charlottesville, Virginia with a funny, sitcom feel to it. Perhaps like oneshots or short stories.
