When Ezra was ten, something as normal as breathing the air almost killed him. That's how it started. Looking back, Ezra remembers the look on his parents' faces. His own feelings mirroring that same horror. Disgust. Now Ezra lives in a tank. His skin burns in the dry open air. His lungs reject it. And above him, the world keeps turning, unaware a child has disappeared underground. The school says it's a sanctuary. A place to train, to grow, to gain control. But Ezra isn't here to get stronger. He's here just to survive. In a place surrounded by firestarters, mindbreakers, and other monsters-in-training, Ezra's new "ability" seems like some seriously bad luck. And while the others push limits, Ezra just tries not to drown in the silence of his own fear. He doesn't know who to trust. Maybe no one. Not with the government hunting kids like him. Not with betrayal already at the door. As Ezra becomes more comfortable with his new life, he sees it. Something else lurking beneath the surface.

"Just because we win the war doesn't mean we don't lose everything in the process." - Joey Magnom --------- Practically everyone dreams of having superpowers. Lift a building, breathe underwater, fly. But at such a cost? Morgan would very happily shove it back to wherever it came from. In a close future, certain children and teenagers suddenly begin to exhibit their own unique superpowers. In order to contain them, keep the secret, and abuse these young adults' power for their own advantage, the government hunted them down and opened camps to train and brainwash these 'supernaturals' in cruel ways. It didn't matter if the child was five or eighteen; they'd take them and give them the same horrible treatment. Morgan was hunted and taken. Rylie was not. Morgan Carter was put in the camps and wasn't able to come out the same way she came in. She became their pet telekinetic/assassin, ready to kill and torture without hesitation and knew how to. She forgot her old life, including her name. Rylie Garner paraded as Light Glider around his city-their own personal superhero-escaping being caught with the help of his friends while trying to find his little supernatural sister, who was taken. But then, their stories began to intertwine. --------- Completed/Being Rewritten
