Apokaluptein

"In my small village, we believed in deities and gods. We revered them but we also feared them. I was never the one to think such entities existed in our modern world. I would sooner believe that time travelling had been achieved. But on that beautifully dark evening of March the thirteenth, I looked into the eyes of the man walking towards me and I realized that maybe time travelling would take just a bit longer for humanity to achieve. "

Long before, gods and goddesses had been the center of life for people all over the world. With their undying devotion and love, the gods and goddesses fed off of this energy that gave them their power to stay in this earth but with the dwindling pool of believers the gods and goddesses have become weak. With so little believers left, they have been slowly fading from the earth's surface. An unknown and powerful force has set up the "Apokaluptein" a fight to the death where gods and goddesses enter their very own selected human to play as their chess piece. With their existence on the line and the pay off of 5 million believers, it's an all-out war that no one wants to lose.
