"In my small village, we believed in deities and gods. We revered them but we also feared them. I was never the one to think such entities existed in our modern world. I would sooner believe that time travelling had been achieved. But on that beautifully dark evening of March the thirteenth, I looked into the eyes of the man walking towards me and I realized that maybe time travelling would take just a bit longer for humanity to achieve. "

Long before, gods and goddesses had been the center of life for people all over the world. With their undying devotion and love, the gods and goddesses fed off of this energy that gave them their power  to stay in this earth but with the dwindling pool of believers the gods and goddesses have become weak. With so little believers left, they have been slowly fading from the earth's surface. An unknown and powerful force has set up the "Apokaluptein" a fight to the death where gods and goddesses enter their very own selected human to play as their chess piece. With their existence on the line and the pay off of 5 million believers, it's an all-out war that no one wants to lose.

I laugh at you pitiful humans who scurry about this Earth with out a purpose seeking only life, but finding only death. I welcome death. I know what is coming, and the Goddess of Darkness will welcome me into her kingdom when I die. For now, I serve her purpose. I fight wars in her name, and serve as her avatar when needed. When she first came to me, she burned the love out of my heart. Now I find only humor in silly human affections. Love. It's such a short and despicable word. "Are those books?" I asked, I walked up to the tree with caution. It did smell beautiful though, no lie. I looked at the books that hung off the branches, they were shaped like petals, making sure they were hidden. But who hid them is the question. They had names, and numbers, "What's it say?" I asked Lisa, as she grabbed one from the tree, "It says safety pin?" I looked at her, "Read the rest." We took each one down, and read them. "Keep breathing 2, Man in the mask 3, Legends 4, Stand and fight forever 5, The awakening 6, the unexpected 7, the unknown world 8 , time of our lives 9, trouble makers 10, we head for disaster but live for the danger 11, when time stops 12, Disorder 13, Deja vu 14, would you believe me 15, Like a boy 16, Repeat 17, it's our time 18, Wait this one is missing!" I read the spot that was missing, "Dear my Dreamer? But where is it?" I asked, and Lisa shrugged. We looked for the missing book, but no luck. "Hey baby, this one is writing itself!?" Lisa shouted, I ran towards her. "It's called, The Ghost of you?" she looked at me. It was writing down everything we said and thought. What the fuck. "That's kind of creepy no?" Lisa said.

Long ago, 4 gods ruled over humanity since their beginning, but after growing bored, they decided to play a game with humanity. Dividing their power into 52 cards that give humans a part of their power, the gods then disappeared leaving behind a prophecy that said one card wielder would rule over them. The rest of humanity then began hunting down the 52 card users with extreme violence, but since a card would randomly pass to another person in the world, they began imprisoning them. Years past, now in modern-day, a boy hurt and scared because of the hunt for the card wielders, blames the gods and so the Devil bestowed upon him their card. Humanity once stood on the top of the world. They ruled the planet with an iron grip. Their rise in technology, industry, engineering, and science were quickly growing. However, an invasion on a worldwide scale had occurred in late 2023. Though there were initial successes in repelling these unknown, mechanical entities. They would eventually start to gain ground through quick adoption of newer variants of their beings and adjusting to counter common military tactics. However, more was needed, so came the introduction of Nikkes, an experimental female soldier that would be the first cybernetic frontline soldier. Even though there were attempts of converting males to such a task, they would become unsuccessful, as it was found out that males were more susceptible to cognitive dissonance and suicide. And so, females ranging from 18 to 30 years of age would remain the main source of Nikkes. As the war raged on, more variants of Nikkes would reinforce or replace the quickly diminishing forces of the world. There would be a significant breakthrough in the Nikkes, with the introduction of the Grimm models of Nikkes. Five Nikkes would be produced by a now defunct company. This squad would be called Goddess. They would be commanded by a special forces Captain Nicholas Miller, and through their first missions, they would further prove the effectiveness of specialized Nikkes and even push the Raptures back some. However, even their efforts would not be enough to stop the tithe of Raptures from encompassing Europe. After many years of fighting, there was one last desperate defense of a structure known as the Ark. Unfortunately, humanity would end up underground where they would spend the next 5 centuries fighting the raptures in smaller scale battles, skirmishes, and special operations. All while the fates of Goddess squad and the now legendary Captain Nicholas Miller had remained a mystery.
