Luke (19) is bored on Tatooine, tired of his life with his Uncle Owen and Aunt Beru. He knows they don't love him (alternate universe, beru and owen were forced to take Luke and dont love him or care about him at all), and he decides to sneak out to the cantina for a drink.
Din, who has recently turned 23, is in the cantina for a bounty, and had to get it TODAY. The target, a green Rodian named Greedo, went to that cantina every Saturday night, and today was his last day on Tatooine so Din had to get the bounty now.
