Magic came back. The world wasn't ready.
Cities turned into war zones. Nations scrambled to militarize spellcasters. Creatures from myth walked the streets. Chaos spread faster than bullets could fly.
That's when the Golden Sword Division was formed.
An independent strike force operating outside political lines, the Division handles threats too dangerous for the public to meddle with. Dragons in the subway. Sorcerers in skyscrapers. Curses woven into warzones. They're the first ones in... and usually the last ones out.
Kael Teryn is a teenage boy who is training to become one of them. When the Military recruited him, he was offered a chance, but nothing comes for free in this world. Now, he's surrounded by soldiers with spells in their veins, blades that hum with ancient power, and enemies who don't stay dead.
