In an alternate world, the Philippines never existed as a unified nation but of kingdoms, each with its own ruler. Soon Diosdado passed on his leadership to his son, Dionisio. Yumi, the daughter of the new prime minister, despises her privileged life. Everyone hates her. Her classmates at the La Real Academia de la Isla. Her family. The whole nation. Being the daughter of a tyrant wasn't her fault but somehow, she was being punished for it. On her 17th birthday, she learns that her father intends to marry her off in a political alliance once she turns eighteen. Through a letter, she discovers that her mother's wish was for her to marry the child of an influential family friend, the son of a powerful Sultan. However, Yumi soon uncovers a dark secret. Her fiance has a hidden agenda- To destroy her family.
