In August of 1969, mystery solving teenagers Fred, Daphne, Shaggy and Velma are mourning the end of their summer vacation when both Fred and Shaggy are drafted into the Vietnam war. For Shaggy, going into a war would violate his pacifist nature; it's kill or be killed, after all. And Fred is so terrified of dying that he doesn't want to go either.
Daphne -- Fred's now fiancée -- would follow him to the end of the earth if he asked. Velma doesn't know a life without her friends, and she never wants to. So, together the four friends and their Great Dane, Scooby, run away together to solve mysteries across the country.
Nothing bad can happen to them as long as they have each other, right?

As you can probably tell by the cover, this is a Scooby-Doo! and Transformers crossover story. The idea randomly popped into my head one night and a friend and I discussed things back and forth about it. No, I did not make the coverart, before you ask. Just after solving a case in Chinatown, Mystery Inc. is called in to investigate a mysterious haunting at a nuclear power plant in the state of California, they get far more than they bargained for when the ghost of an old mutated sea diver emerges from one of the vats in the facility.
