Odysseus was 19 when he started his first year at Ithaca University. Promising to keep Odysseus out of trouble, his best friend, Eurylochos, went with him. They planned on doing everything together. However, those plans were interrupted when Odysseus was roomed with the literal ray of sunshine, Polites.
