A pack of wolves (like shapeshifters/ werewolves) who live in the human world are forced to be in the choosing. Chanteloup, refuses to be in the choosing. The choosing is when all of the she-wolves at the age of 16 have to be scored on their strength and beauty. And all of the males chase them in a 30 mile long area and whom ever they catch, is their mate for life.
