Despite this uneasy truce, mistrust still lingers between the realms, which is why Angel is less than thrilled when he's assigned to partner with a demon.
Reluctantly thrown together, the two embark on a mission that quickly proves to be more than it seems. As they unravel the deeper mysteries behind their task, they also begin to realize that their differences may not be so vast after all-and that maybe, just maybe, the other isn't so bad.
